With the Battle Chargers I could forgive their amount of translucent plastic but Skids was something I didn't feel uncomfortable with. With Trailbreacker and Jazz's new opaque plastic re-issues in Legacy United, one would hope that Hasbro re does this figure. I’m kind of at a disadvantage, due to not having read the comics, but I have some issues regarding both your thoughts on “revenge” and Cliffjumper’s actions in issue number six. For the record, I too am tired of “if go through with this, I’ll be just as bad as them” moments in media. However, statements like “revenge is un-ironically good”…? I’m sorry, but to me, that just seems like an incredibly toxic mentality to have. Don’t get me wrong, it’s natural/human to feel vengeful. You feel like you have to pay someone back in kind, so that you personally feel a sense of catharsis and justice within yourself. However, at the same time, you two seem to have a consequence-less attitude towards revenge. Or at least, you don’t really address the other side of things, beyond bringing up that episode of Avatar. For starters, there is the possibility that, in your conquest for revenge, it can lead to deeper anger and resentment for every moment it isn’t fulfilled. This, in turn, can result in you making bad choices out of blind rage, thus hurting both yourself and the ones you love. Second, let’s say Cliffjumper actually went through with offing Starscream. He would frankly be lucky that the other Decepticons despise Starscream, as otherwise, Cliff’ (and potentially Carly) would be made a prime target for his actions. Basically, the Decepticons would be enacting THEIR revenge. Lastly, you try telling me you can confidently take someone’s life. Even if the target was a dangerous threat that needed to be stopped, you seriously wouldn’t be the slightest bit shaken up after the event? It’s all to easy to say some “pussied out”… until you’re in their shoes. I’m not saying Cliffjumper was right for what he did. If anything, Carly’s line of “You could have ended all of it.” Along with her being angry/not speaking to Cliff’ the following issue, implies this is being depicted a bad choice. Or at least, a choice that had lasting consequences. I’m just saying the issue isn’t as ‘cut-and-dry’ as you two make it out to be.

Watching this one again, as much as we question why people hated Power-Core Combiners as much as they did; with what we bring up, I think we may have actually answered that question: * Fragile toys, especially those translucent Mini-Cons. * The auto-transforming drones, which not only sacrifice articulation, but something I forgot to mention is that the springs in some of those drones were so strong that they don't stay plugged in all the way, if at all. More of a QC thing, really. I don't think people hated the concept, more the execution really. That being said... this podcast has made me want to revisit this line, not gonna lie. If I do another review, I might feature ID's discussion with one of the designers.

I picked up this iteration of Bee at Walmart, but mine is a variant with some better paint on the face. Plus the yellow looks better.

Honestly, if legacy armada starscream have better QC, it would've been definitely on par with this figure, overall i think this figure is the best armada starscream of all time

It's pretty charming on its own, is it objectively terrible? Yeah, but is it weirdly fun and kind of charming? Probably, i wish some of the characters would've get revisited in legacy united, but hey, the PCC on their own is pretty posable depending on how you use the joints

the discoloration is something that Hasbro had to deal with over the last few years starting with Siege, from what I remember it also effected sizable amount of the commander class Motermaster. I heard Hasbro has to made fast negotiations to correct the issue. It's annoying seeing nice figures suffer Photodegradation. Side note Jhiaxus' Toyhax is amazing and really helps bring more of the G2 comic details to life in this figure.
